Spencer Buckley; London based producer, Of Ghost, has a history in Jazz/Funk Fusion bands and Acoustic music. Inspired by the “Musique Concrète” of Pierre Henry, and LuQuS’ integration of acousmatic & “organic found-sounds” into commercially accessible, yet experimental music, the artist develops a oneiric world of ambient sound powered by crisp, organic drums and lead solely, unique to this genre, by guitar melodies.
This EP is an emotive journey through powerful guitar melodies and ambient sonorities, structured by intricate beats; created from ice cracks, natural drums, coins and chains. ‘Real Eyes,’ a collaboration with R.I.T sees the artist incorporating his acoustic background to make ambience from acoustic guitars and pianos whilst leading with Spanish influenced guitar melodies to compliment the esoteric beatwork of ‘R.I.T (Nollores).’
